I worked directly under Christi as an Operations and Mentorship Coordinator at SV Academy, where she was first employed as an Operations Manager and later promoted to Director of Program. During that time, she became the best manager I’ve ever had; her leadership is based on trust and setting an impeccable example for her reports.
Christi was the one to onboard me and thoroughly ensured I had everything I needed to excel at my job, providing me with the best mix of autonomy and support I have experienced. During my time at SV Academy, I saw Christi build operational and company-wide processes from scratch that are still being used today. Her ability to break down complex processes into smaller, communicable, and actionable parts, while reporting and tracking progress toward the company’s and team’s KPIs made her a crucial member of the team. In her role, she was the main contact between leadership and individual contributors, helping the financial, product, customer support, admissions, and program sectors. In dealing with each team, she approached everybody with curiosity, learned about their needs, and provided a consultative approach to creating solution-oriented processes that later transformed into SOPs and training and enablement materials.
I have high admiration for the level of commitment Christi brought to ensuring smooth and lean operations, team building, and revenue-focused activities.
